The iSimple JamKast (MSRP: $49.95) combines plug-and-play simplicity with new FM modulation technologies to offer consumers an easy way to listen to music from an iPod, Zune, Zen, BlackBerry or portable media player while behind the wheel. To use, one simply has to plug the JamKast 3.5mm minijack input into his/her media player, plug the 12v power plug into the vehicle’s lighter port, activate the built-in dTECT™ technology or manually tune the JamKast via its backlit LED display, set the car stereo to the displayed channel, and enjoy.
The JamKast iP (MSRP: $79.95) is an advanced digital FM transmitter that connects quickly and easily to the docking port of any iPod or iPhone. In addition to broadcasting music to any car stereo, it also sends song title and artist data that can be viewed on the radio display of RDS capable radios. To use, all one needs to do is connect the JamKast iP to his/her iPod or iPhone, activate the dTECT™ technology or manually tune the JamKast, and set the car stereo to the displayed channel. The JamKast iP also comes with a USB car charger adaptor and USB-to-mini USB cable that keeps the attached iPod or iPhone charged.
